Base7 has launched its website at base7.ai. The Abu Dhabi company designs, builds and deploys production AI applications for the UAE's governments and large enterprises, and stays on to run them after launch.
Base7 is a sovereign AI application factory. It works backwards from the problems that hold an operation back and turns them into production systems, with one team scoping, building, shipping and running each system end to end. Every application is assembled through seven layers of the modern AI stack, from the compute it runs on up to the application itself, which is where the company takes its name.
“The application is the deliverable, and we own every layer beneath it.”
Sovereign by design
Base7 is cloud-agnostic. It deploys on the compute the country already trusts, Core42 and Microsoft Azure, or inside a client's private cloud, whichever fits. Data stays in the UAE and compliance is engineered in from day one. The company is co-located in the Core42 sovereign public cloud, partnered with the G42 ecosystem, and led by former Amazon operators.
Seven phases, end to end
Delivery runs across seven phases, from discovery and assessment through to live operation. Base7 is model, technology and vendor agnostic, choosing the stack that fits each project rather than a fixed set of tools.
Five sectors
Base7 designs, builds and runs production AI across five sectors: finance, consumer goods, government, resilient operations, and retail. Several of its systems are already live in production for UAE institutions.
Base7 sits at the applied-systems layer of the NXT Holding portfolio, alongside Bridge in consulting and Obsidian in platforms.
